The Fern's digital knit is padded, but it just feels loose and easily stretchable at the base. This may be due to not having lumbar support. The Zody II digital knit, while not nearly as padded, is thick and stretched very taut. WebActually we both prefer the digital knit over the regular mesh. It feels more cushioned and you don't feel any of the elastomer/plastic parts of the back the way you can with the regular mesh. However, the temperature in the office doesn't go above 70F/21C so YMMV if you live in a hotter climate.
